History
Founded in 1975,
Whelan's International, Co., Inc. is a family-owned
partnership headquartered in Long
Island, New York
with regional offices throughout the United
States, Canada,
and Great Britain.
During our thirty two year history we have developed
a reputation for being the premier vendor of choice
by quality driven retailers, and a multitude of other
multi-facility businesses. We currently service over
70 clients on an international level providing total
facilities maintenance to over 20,000 facilities every
month. Over the years, we have successfully provided
our clients with increased services and have improved
the quality of services to meet their changing needs
as they added thousands of new stores, branches, and
brands. We have never told a client that we were unable
to service their growth. As you can imagine, we do not
underbid jobs to acquire new business. We price our
work economically and responsibly and in such a way
that we do not frustrate store or branch managers with
inadequate performance due to insufficient time or materials
to perform the scheduled tasks.
As you review the services section of this web site, you will see that we
have built our business through over 700 qualified employees working closely
with an established group of Whelan's certified and trained service
providers. Our Regional, Area, District, and Training Managers provide the
excellent oversight, quality control, and on-going training that ensures
unsurpassed customer satisfaction in our industry. We have also been able to
manage the many services we provide by developing the most advanced computer
tracking system in our industry; The Whelan's Enhanced Store Tracking System
(a.k.a. "The WEST System"). Our system involves Interactive Voice Response,
or check-in/check-out technology, as well as service tickets that reveal
real time response, warranty information, service technician's availability,
complete store or branch information, and severity levels. Our clients have
web-based access and can check the status of any ticket, open or closed. Our
reporting capabilities are unsurpassed in our industry.
